Lumber Cost Calculator

The calculator computes the total cost of lumber by first determining the board-foot volume of a single board using length, width and thickness dimensions. It multiplies this unit volume by the quantity of boards and then applies an optional waste factor to inflate the overall volume. Finally, it multiplies the adjusted total volume by the price per board foot to obtain the final cost.
